HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I know! The year is already five days old, so its not so new but this is my first post in 2010 so I have to welcome you to a new year/decade. I can’t believe that I haven’t shared my thots with you since last year. Time does fly, especially around the end of the year – the ‘ber’ months. Although this is my first post in the new year, there will be no top ten lists from me. There is an abundance of that on the Web so am assuming you have had your fill of all things lists.

In the late ’90s, a new kid on the block – Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), got engrossed in a fierce battle to overthrow market-dominating Netscape Navigator and thus began the browser wars. Although IE emerged victorious from that slug fest and reigned, for a long time, as the #1 browser – in terms of usage share, other contenders have since stepped into the arena. IE can no longer claim to be the only king in the browser jungle.
