As far as Web browsers go, Firefox is arguably the best out there, that is my personal opinion and outright endorsement of an amazing product of Web technology. Firefox is fast, uncomplicated and customizable to your liking. According to these browser statistics, Firefox had 47.4% of the browser usage for the month of August, 2009, surpassing Google Chrome, Safari, Opera and all currently-supported versions of Internet Explorer.

Browser Wars
Tuesday, June 9th, 2009In the late ’90s, a new kid on the block – Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), got engrossed in a fierce battle to overthrow market-dominating Netscape Navigator and thus began the browser wars. Although IE emerged victorious from that slug fest and reigned, for a long time, as the #1 browser – in terms of usage share, other contenders have since stepped into the arena. IE can no longer claim to be the only king in the browser jungle.
